The Package:

On Barutheela we offer an all inclusive vacation. There are no hidden extras, so you can relax and enjoy your time.

All inclusive means:

Transfers: You will be met by Barutheela crew or representative on arrival in Male. For those staying at resorts before or after the cruise, Barutheela will co-ordinate your transfer to and from the boat.

Accommodation: Barutheela has 6 spacious cabins, all with en-suite showers and toilets. Four cabins can sleep 3 persons, two cabins sleep 2 persons. Two of the cabins have a double bed, the remainder are single bed, twin or triple cabins. Specific cabins may be reserved on booking on a first come first served basis.

Meals: A rich breakfast buffet with freshly baked bread, tropical fruits, eggs to order, cereals, meats, cheeses, coffee, tea etc.

Lunch is usually a light affair of soup with pasta and salad.

Tea is served around 4.30pm, fresh cakes and biscuits tide you over until dinner.

Dinner on board is a 3 course meal, lovingly prepared by our international chef.

If you get peckish during the day, just ask the crew they will gladly get something for you to nibble on. Bananas are always available, ripening on the main deck.

Barbeque: Once a week (weather permitting) we prepare an original Maldivian beach barbeque on an uninhabited island. Fish and meats are grilled over an open fire, cool drinks and Maldivian music enhance that Robinson Crusoe feeling.

Drinks: All beer, wine, soft drinks, tea and coffee are included in our package price. Cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), special wines, spirits and champagne are charged extra.

Diving: We offer 3 dives daily, apart from arrival and departure day. On long crossings to far off atolls the weather may only permit 2 dives that day. One night dive is offered during the week. Our dive guides specialize in choosing just the right spot for an amazing night dive experience. Light sticks (cylumes) must be used on night dives, bring your own or purchase on board. Scuba cylinders, weights and weight belts are part of the Barutheela package.

Diving Equipment: Is available on board for rental. Daily rental rates are regulator $10 ($50 for week), computer $10 ($50 for week), BCD $10 ($50 for week), regulator & BCD package rental $90 for week, mask/snorkel/fins $7 ($45 for week), shorty wetsuit $5 ($25 for week), dive lamp $5 per dive, light stick (cylume) $2 each

Services: You will notice that Barutheela does not impose a service charge on the cost for your cruise. We prefer that guests have the freedom to give their own gratuity directly to the Barutheela crew for services received. Gratuity envelopes are distributed at the end of each cruise and ALL gratuities received are shared equally among Barutheela and dhoni crew members.
